chadwick
Never happen. I agree. Sabres are effective up close, but from afar, and on recordings, you just can't see them.
jmc5682
Obviously this is a talented corps. I just thought it was less than exciting.
Gaddabout
If the Glassmen had another week or two, that should would've been excellent.
GMichael1230
Troop has more Musical Effect, better brass, better percussion, better musical ensemble...It's a close call. I find their music a tad uneventful and somewhat predicatable. While their ensemble clarity is a little greater I find Colts handle the challenge of their musical dynamics much better and present a more solid sound with more depth and maturity. supersop
Why are people not finding anything positive about Glassmen this year ? Its one of the best shows of the year, solid design, great field encompassing drill, good musicality, good guard. I love this show. Geoffrey Very poor staging, way too long for visual and musical ideas to develop, pit to battery is dirty as sin and has been, hornline either plays too soft and you hear feet through the bells or they overblow and sound crass. Drill is just as dirty as the past few years and I feel like I've seen this show a million times in 20 years. Other than that ... they're great
Gaddabout
Also, rifles should be real, locked, and loaded.
