I'm not Catholic but our "next thing to being a Catholic and still be a Protestant" (aka Lutheran ) church started a Sat night service for people who can't sit in pews for an hour plus or have Sunday AM conflicts. I know this sacriligious to say, but my interest in drum corps wanes by the time Finals night arrives. I took a newbie friend to some shows this year and he said "Why do they have to compete and get scores? They're all good". While I'm not feeling that way during the season, there's something about the overkill of 3 shows in a row with results that are almost exactly the same night to night that makes me say, "it doesn't really matter anymore." So this afternoon I will be out on my beloved V-Max Motorcycle, enjoying the weather....tonight I will be finishing 2 paintings that I will hopefully be selling on Monday....and using some of that money to donate to the Scouts!
