SkipMebden
SkipMebden said:"BEST DCI OPENER IN MY LIMITED DRUM CORPS MEMORY: Hawthorne Muchachos, 1974, "Pictures of Spain." Yes, I said it! I must admit the Drum Corps Sacrilege that I liked the '74 show better than the '75." I totally agree with you, Skip. I've always liked the '74 show better. Not just the 'Pictures' opener, but the whole show was just better, in my opinion. Total agreement: I posted that post and realized that I didn't make the case strong enough about the whole show. The 1974 Hawthorne Muchachos is my favorite show of all time. If you can't practice at home some day, you can certainly get a workout in the car by playing your mouthpiece with that recording. Is that as bad as texting while driving?? Scott Mescon Brigadiers 1993- Edited October 13, 2009 by SkipMebden
