JohnD Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I am very sorry to report that I was advised this morning that Zach Headden, drum major for Pacific Crest, was killed in an automobile accident early this morning here in Southern California. We waited until the announcement was made on the Pacific Crest website before posting this on the forums. Armando Duenas, a Pacific Crest alumnus, was also in the car and was injured in the accident. He is presently hospitalized at UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA. Let's keep Zach's family, Armando and his family, and the entire Pacific Crest organization in our thoughts and prayers in this most difficult time. These kinds of stories always make me so appreciative of the bonds and friendships drum corps has given me, and I can't imagine the loss PC is feeling right now.
