I miss corps having one, identifiable uniform that was unique to that group. And most of the new uniforms look atrocious anyway. Get rid of: Synthesizer Amplification Elaborate pre-shows. I just want the corps to come on the field, "Is your corps ready?", salute, we go. I've got more. Can't think of them right now. I'd like to add: Full tunes! Please give me more than 16 bars of a tune. Corps shows should be about music - not a tribute to ADHD. Color Guards that look like they will kick your ###. Not Circue de Soleil with flags. Bring back twirlers with cowbells and patent leather boots, white marching shoes, drum majors who high mark time while conducting and the starting pistol drum-out....sorry, just had to.
