It's not that they scatter - it's more that they are temporarily blinded and just stumble around in agony! :spitting:

Heh. Seem like we have the beginnings of a great production, All we need is a tune to play.

I just wanted to say that sometimes a "scatter" is actually highly organized and intentional. When that's the case, to me, it's a perfectly legitimate effect. Especially when one form seemingly dissolves into chaos then materializes into something unexpected. You can see it in graphic art, choreography, advertising and other forms of visual communication.

Such as in the case of the Garfield Cadets in 1987.

The company front, organized and intentional scatter, company front was brilliant!!!!! :spitting::spitting::spitting:

Quoted for truth.

Scatter -- Unplanned move that gets you from point A to B with no rhyme or reason, just function...

Free Form -- Planned paths ways that can create Layering, Texture, or a way to have conformed Chaos.

Free Forms have balance in the Visual picture were Scatters do not...

You're simply nit-picking the term. :)

Yeah, both words imply exactly the same thing. I could make a case for a scatter drill being 'planned' and a free form being random (and I would be just as wrong of course)
