ducttapedgerbil
...till we see electronics in DCA? I am just asking since we have seen so many changes a la DCI (multi key brass). Less than 5? More than 5 but less than 10? DCA performs in the rain.... water and electricity do not mix well. This will guarantee that it is NEVER!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! This is why it important that we NEVER move DCA Championships to a dome. Drum Corps is an outdoors activity!!!!
Gary Matczak
How do we go from adding amps to it becoming a rock band/string ensemble on the sideline. Knee jerk much? have you seen Teal Sound in the last two years,.................yes, they have a rock band in the pit,...........
LegalEagle50
Having DCA in dome or out on a field is not going to be what keeps amps out.
Fastone
kids are still coming in to DCi too. In fact, I know more than a few kids that march DCI that bag on the electronics and call them lame and gay...but they want to march, so they tolerate it. But the next generation will be more acclimated and accustomed to it. the generation after that even moreso.if a kid wants to march, be it G bugles or #### that gets plugged in, they'll want to march. Let me ask you, with all of the toys legal now for a while in DCI...how many kids said "no i wont go be a part of it" ? very few. and DCA will see the same thing. Trust me, I don't want the stuff there. But I'm also realistic. That's the point, what brings members into the corps is what's gonna happen. I don't want to see it either but I had my time and I'm willing to let the new generation have theirs.

Jeff Ream
yep. it may come to pass that i don't want to watch it anymore too. it will suck for me personally, but it is what it is. if enough fans leave, well, then it's on them to find out way and make whatever changes they need to. except, I see art more important than the business side more and more in drum corps. That's the point, what brings members into the corps is what's gonna happen. I don't want to see it either but I had my time and I'm willing to let the new generation have theirs. MarkT-GCS
LOL.... I rarely drink anymore, so one or two beers is about it. (Beer Snob editorial comment: Bud, Coors and Miller do not qualify as "beer." ) I knew there was a reason I liked you. Always great to meet another beer snob. :)
