Dir_en_X
I marched Euph/Tuba, but sometimes fantasized about marching a lighter horn.
scsudrummer
I marched cymbals/pit at Pioneer, and cymbals with the Govenaires, but I always wanted to march on the plateline at Madison, or march snare with the Bluecoats.
madalumni
I marched Madison 89 and 90. I wish I could have marched Madison 85-90!
scouttimp
I marched Madison 89 and 90. I wish I could have marched Madison 85-90! Ahh Jeff, Then you would have missed the greatest of all Madison shows (MHO!) 1984 I'd be JB, and start marching Madison in 1979, and age out in 1988, playing... the rifle! runner up- clone myself, and be both kettledrummers in 1990 Star. Good point Matt - 84 would have been great to march. I was simply going by how many years I could have marched if I would have started at age 16. But I'll go with your Johnny Banks idea and start in 79 or 80!
Eric M. Buckman
Played Contrabass for 88 'Coats and 89 Cadets but would have loved to perform on Snare. But, I have always dreamed of being in the '87 SCV Contra Line. Wicked. Edited May 11, 2011 by Eric M. Buckman
G-Rott
Marched Philadelphia Police Cadets on Contra and Reading Buccaneers on rifle, but never marched indoor guard...and I still dream of that
BlooContraGuy
I guess I'll reply to the actual topic. I marched contra, but I would have loved to march cymbals. ...though there is still WGI...
ozarkbugler
I marched baritone, but I fantasised about marching saxophone... luckily it is only a matter of time before future generations will have the opportunity that DCI so rudely kept from me... Actually, you missed your chance (so far) about marching (not playing) saxophone. I don't remember the exact year but in the 90's the Bluecoats used saxophones as props in the guard.
