CrownBariDad
Good job, Baby Blue! Yep--almost another 2 point jump. From the reports, it sounds like all the Corps had good shows. Congrats!

Musicman1084
Surf - told you I wouldn't forget. Never did I think I would hear Lady Gaga in drum corps, but if there was ever a corps to do it, it's Jersey Surf. Bizet/Ravel/Seal/Gaga. It works - trust me! The guard enters in wacky neon green headpieces that strangely compliment the theme well. The hornline has a great opening statement with some surprising volume for a smaller hornline (40-45 members. Weren't they bigger in their open class days??) and the music book in general is very enjoyable. Dare I say this could be one of my favorite shows by finals? They have a lot of work to do visually. Marching and forms are a bit sloppy and the guar will need to be flawless considering their size in relation to the hornline and how much their uniforms and staging make them stand out. I'm confident they'll clean it up though. They have a great, entertaining show to work with. Best moment: Kiss From a Rose as a ballad with a terrific Bari soloist! beachdude
So apparently they did a full corps retreat at the show and the corps played themselves off the field!
Musicman1084
Surprising spreads in my opinion, but I'm no judge! This was easily the most entertaining show I've seen in the northeast in years. I genuinely enjoyed every corps I saw. I'll try and post some more stuff later when I get to a computer. Sorry for all the typos.
