kevingamin
This mash up is not working for me either. Actually his point was that, weird as it was to him, it WAS working. It works for me, too.
texascv1
You just cannot go wrong with Malaguena, especially when you've got the high brass screamers to boot. unamplified screamers.... :)
Kamarag
Performance-wise, Scouts sure do get it done. I think Spirit was more entertaining, but still. Bluecoats were very good, and very clean, but kinda "sterile". Let's see where Cavaliers fit into things.

CrownBariDad
Did anyone catch the announcer said "The Madison Scouts" and "The Cavaliers"?

N.E. Brigand
I don't like the singing in the Scouts' show. I love the rest of the show, just not the singing. I like the singing, but think it could be a trifle shorter. I am shocked, shocked to hear yet another corps making excessive use of synthesizers (and like the Bluecoats, at one point nearly covering up the contras who are surely placed down front so that they can be heard clearly!) but will trust kevingamin that this is more a function of microphone placement than anything else. Also, sometimes I wonder (or maybe I hope?) that corps are using synths more early in the season until the brass builds their chops.
flammaster
I'm not sure I'm buying into the mash-up of PAAE with Scouts' greatest hits, but you can't deny that is one fantastically written brass book. VERY well played indeed but I don't like the arrangement. other than that it's a great show I just don't like the mish mash of their greatest hits inside PAAE. Too bad because I was real excited when I heard about this show. They performed it very well though!
