Triple Forte
Forget the fact that it's WAY too early. It's all for fun. It is way to early and I make my serious predictions on the 4th of July every year....but..on the way to work today I thought about a possible outcome to the upcoming dci season. Crown or Cadets go undefeated (who would predict that one?) btw I doubt the Cadets could go undefeated because a lot of people are saying the show is going to be insanely difficult.... N.E. Brigand
FYI, from 2003 to 2012, Crown has improved 11 points from their final scores in 2003. Yes. Very impressive. Crown gets the "Most Improved Award" in the World Class division for this timeframe. BK, Bloo, PR, and Troopers are all up from 2003-2012 the rest are down. Stats from DCP. Crossmen are up as well! No: down. Right. But you forgot Pacific Crest. These corps' scores went up 2003-2012: Carolina Crown - 86.65 > 97.65 Troopers - 75.45 > 77.65 Phantom Regiment - 94.75 > 96.55 Bluecoats - 90.75 > 92.55 Blue Knights - 85.35 > 86.7 Pacific Crest - 79.3 > 80.25 These corps weren't competing in World Class in 2003: Blue Stars - n/a > 84.6 Academy - n/a > 81.9 Jersey Surf - n/a > 75.45 This corps' score is unchanged: Spirit of Atlanta - 84.4 > 84.4 These corps' scores dropped 2003-2012: Blue Devils - 98.8 > 98.7 Santa Clara Vanguard - 94.7 > 94.45 Colts - 80.05 > 79.2 Madison Scouts - 89.55 > 88 Boston Crusaders - 90.95 > 89.1 Cadets - 97.1 > 95.05 Glassmen - 84.5 > 82.25 Crossmen - 86.9 > 84 Pioneer - 72.3 > 66.2 Cavaliers - 97.25 > 88.85 Mandarins - 80.3 > 71.6 Cascades - 81.65 > 68.75 And these 2003 World Class corps didn't compete in 2012: Magic of Orlando - 85.6 > n/a Capital Regiment - 80.15 > n/a Kiwanis Kavaliers - 78.75 > n/a Southwind - 77.5 > n/a

GREENBLUE
BK, BC PR and troopers are all up from 2003- 2012 the rest are down. stats from DCP. Not quite sure how this is an accurate statement. If you compare the year 2003 to the year 2012, yes its accurate. But as a 10 year span it is not. From 2003-2012 the Cavies average score is a 96.4. From 1993-2002 the Cavies average score is a 96.3. The Cavies had a slightly better recent decade. From 2003-2012 BD average score is 97.96. From 1993-2002 BD average score is 97.39. BD had a better recent decade. From 2003-2012 Cadets average score is 96.24. From 1993-2002 Cadets average score is 97.36. So yes the Cadets scores were higher 10-20 years ago. Of course Crown will have the biggest advantage in the area of improvement average because they weren't a division one corps till 1994. They go from a 83.4 to 93.59 in a 19 year time frame. Plus its important to point out that in a 20 year time frame the combination of Blue Devils, Cadets and Cavaliers have 20 world championships. Phantom is the only corps to win an outright title during that time and of course SCV tied with BD in 1999 and Phantom with BD in 1996. Lannister1
Here's mine. Definitely Top 3: Blue Devils Definitely Top 4: Santa Clara, Crown, Blue Devils and Cadets 5: Phantom 6: Bluecoats 7-9: Madison, Boston, Cavies 10: Spirit 11: Crossmen 12: Colts (upset special)
BRASSO
corps' scores dropped 2003-2012: Blue Devils - 98.8 > 98.7 This " scores drop " stat alone will fire up the members of BD for this season to improve things. ( lol!)

Thats why I coined the phrase " The Cadevaliers " as one of these trifectas wins over 80 % of all the DCI titles. If this was a horse, he'd be the one to put your money on as you can't help but make money if you bet this pony each and every year.
