Bluestars Though... while writing this down I realized that potentially any of the top 7 could switch places (unlikely that BD or Crown would be 7th..) which 10 years ago would not be the case. When was the last time, 2 Calif. based Corps finished, 1-2 at Finals ? 1999 was a 1-1 Finish at Finals... So the answer would be 1986. Blue Devils 1st ( Spanish Fantasy, Channel One, Chick Corea, Coquistador) : SCV 2nd ( Festive Overture and Pictures). 1981.... There have been more 2-3 finishes at finals between these two corps.
