Great players make great teams.

That looks like an all-star cast to me.

This is great news, IMO. It shows a committment to working together, in close quarters, to find resolution to their differences.

I'm glad the four members of the seven can officially represent their side at the table.

Mark Arnold (Blue Knights)

Roman Blenski (Pioneer)

Jim Coates (Carolina Crown)

Jeff Fiedler (Santa Clara Vanguard)

David Gibbs (Blue Devils)

George Hopkins (Cadets)

Chris Komnick (Madison Scouts)

Fred Morrison (Crossmen)

well... I hope they decided to work together in the full interest of DCI.

I question the decision to elect Hopkins as the secretary.... :lookaround:/>

edit: also, these are all 1 year terms? did some of these ppl not have more than 1 year left on their existing term?

were these rules changed?

Good balance on the board it appears at first take.... with 4 from the Non G7 and 4 from the G7, and one to be selected later that is not from a member Corps... ( to break a deadlock ? )

How is that? 4/7 of the Seven, 4/17 of the rest...

I'd put this under the wise old sage advice to " keep your friends close, and your detractors closer ".

Those that don't want to see DCI come apart, should be pleased that there is good diversity and balance here. Had this Executive Board been stacked with one camp, that'd would've made for any potential split up of DCI a stronger likihood. But this is an early., 1st take of mine here too. Lets see what the following days, months show us regarding the memberships ability to compromise and move in a direction that is beneficial to the best interests of all, and in keeping with the DCI Mission Statement all membership Corps have agreed too.
