Photographer Jim
Just arrived at the theater in Pleasant Hill California. I'm the first one here! Had to wait for the staff to clean out the theater from the last showing. Got my choice of the best seat in the house. Now it's hurry up and wait
theCHEZman
I'm thinking about posting the scores but I don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it yet...hmmm Just post. The only ones reading this are those of us that didn't go to a theater..

Cleveland1
Glad this person isn't a judge ;-) Me too. But not everyone has to like every show every year.

N.E. Brigand
Had Bluecoats been penalized like they should have been... I still would have been wrong, since the judges actually put Boston where I thought they deserved to be, rather than where I guessed they'd be scored.
mirrormen
Was blown away by Spirit, really blown away! entertaining but also very mature and complicated design. What other corps has gotten back into finals and remained true to their past while also pushing a new version of themselves, AND the crowd digging them? Boston was weird and had little effect. I do like the gray for their theme. Crowd seemed to agree with me. Cavies were not as bad some have said, but not good. Brass sound really rough right now. They seemed to not play together in time well at all. Interesting concept. PR was good. Not sure this will be top five though. Brass seem a bit down. Guard seemed wonderful and in control. Nimrod will be a hit. Drum and pit writing? Bluecoats. Probably my favorite since Criminal. Lots of talent in each section.I look forward to seeing it live and get that take on it. Uniform works. Cadets. Unless something super surprising happens, they seem to be headed for a medal. I LOVED IT! Great sound and look. I am not a big fan of props, but think these work really well. My placement: Cadets Bluecoats PR Spirit Cavies Boston Fun night.
