BRASSO
Its been a long time since the Troopers have been to a show in New England. This is GREAT news for Drum Corps fans in New England, imo. Glad as well to learn that the Madison Scouts will be returning to N.E. after last season's appearance as well ! perc2100
Murfreesboro 7/25 G7 appearing: Blue Devils, Bluecoats, Cadets, Carolina Crown, Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard non-G7 appearing: Boston Crusaders (and Music City) G7 not appearing: none Massillon 8/4 G7 appearing: Bluecoats, Cadets, Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard non-G7 appearing: Boston Crusaders, Crossmen G7 not appearing: Blue Devils, Cavaliers Wonder what happened: a) for the slight 'membership' change to the Tour of Champions shows (as someone else said I suspect original member corps not present at some shows being a product of schedule logistics more than anything else) b) why Boston Crusaders has a seemingly sudden change of heart about their participation in the shows

perc2100
SoCal drum corps fans boned again. Sigh. Yeah, I know 2007 at the Rose Bowl was a cost-prohibitive anomaly, but it doesn't make me wanna embrace Teh Suck any more than I have to. Guess we'll be driving up to Stanford once more to see some dirty shows that won't look or sound anything like the epic awesomeness everyone else with more disposable income will get to see 6-8 weeks later. C'est la vie, said the old folks... 2007 Rose Bowl was also seemingly a high-attendance anomaly. It was great to have Crown come to town last year, and it's nice to have BK and Crossmen make the trip; I don't foresee corps coming to CA much later than they do with the current model (short of DCI rearranging Finals to be in SoCal, or NoCal). It is a bummer, and as someone who can't afford to travel cross-country during the summer (as a HS band teacher), I definitely will not be attending any live shows this year. I'll probably get FN again, at leastDefinitely always a bit of a bummer to look at the schedule and see, "Oh, my 'home-town' show, which is still a good 30+ min. drive, doesn't have SCV & BD, merely one or the other. Lame."

That's likely a pretty solid speculation. It's good for all involved, I think, for the shows to be more "inclusive," especially if ToC member corps are unable to perform at a ToC show due to tour logistics. Perhaps things aren't as doom/gloom as some people think...
Jeff Ream
So TOC shows are back, but now with non G7 corps. I wonder what happened behind the scenes on this? indeed very interesting

flammaster
This tour really makes me mad! Finally my son has a very good shot at making BDA and he won't get to see his Grandpa in Ogden Utah who already made plans to attend this year after seeing them last year. TeamQuavers
Actually, it looks like the Walnut show has been changed to Citrus College in Glendora on 6/28. I'm excited about the line-up there because we normally get 4-5 world class corps there, but now we're getting seven (Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Blue Knights, Crossmen (I haven't seen them in person yet), Pacific Crest, Mandarins, and the Academy). ShortAndFast
Good to see the Northwest gets a (first ever?) visit from Bones next summer. And 2nd year in a row with SCV making the trip north. Will BD ever do the NW tour again? Last time was in 2008 IIRC
