Galen Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 Crown's motto should be "Play loud and prosper". The hornline has an unbelievably lush, clean and loud sound that's gorgeous to hear. Percussion has stepped their game up big time from the last 2 years. Guard has lots of intricate weapon work but also had a lot of drops. As for the show itself, it was a bit underwhelming despite the good playing only because it feels like a work in progress. Sorry to be rude, but that's all I've got for ya. Now, if you said last year's show was "Esoteric", I might agree with you. But NOT this......no way!
