Their 2014 program is entitled Animal Farm and consists of: The Battle on the Ice from Alexander Nevsky by Prokofiev, Sergei Polyuska Polye (O Field, My Field) by Knipper, Levi Symphony No 4 in D Minor by Knipper, Levi Movement 2 from Symphony No 11 by Shostakovich, Dmitri Movement 4 from Concert Romanesq by Ligeti, Gyorgy Concert for Violin and Orchestra by Barber, Samuel Original Music by George, Ryan I know I am being extremely nit-picky...but the composer name is "Lev Knipper" and not "Levi"...I noticed BAC made this mistake in their own announcement (sorry BAC) and now it has even found its way at corpsreps.com where it carried over incorrectly...LOL 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
corpsband Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 I have a feeling the judges don't quite know what to do with Troopers. I'm proud none the less. I think Troop is in good shape for this season. They certainly made the biggest impression on me in terms of change from this year/last year. Performers seem better trained and much more confident.
