"DCI All-Star Review," Bowling Green, OH

Recommended Posts

Horns collapse into a single file on the 50 before doing fast rotating files a couple times. Crowd enjoys that visual treat.

Lincoln Portrait time. Excellent job by the trumpet soloist!

Guard breaks out a portrait of Lincoln in the middle of the drill form but the pieces don't really line up so it's hard to tell.

Huge sound from the horns! They also start in a block formation before each quadrant starts rotating.

Drum break. Horn line high stepping in the back as they come back in.

Hope frames are added to the Lincoln pieces.

Powerful sound from Troopers tonight.

Mellos do need to watch their tuning during their unison moment at the start of the Shenandoah. Great arrangement by Robert W. Smith.

Guard has now removed the yellow tops of their uniforms, revealing a burnt red top below.

America the Beautiful. This has the same feeling as Battle Hymn last year. Build into a company front before hitting the main statement of the song.

Fast paced ending to the show with the guard spread out all over the field and the corps marching through them. Crowd REALLY Liked this show!

By the way, I don't remember the show name being "Time Trip" yesterday. Did I miss something?
