2015 Predictions

2. Cavaliers will once again go with a very dark show

3. Extremely large uniform changes for most of the G7 except the Cadets and maybe SCV

4. Carolina Crown will hopefully lay the science theme to rest

5. Spirit of Atlanta will make finals (pleaaasseee)

• Fauré's Masques et bergamasques
• Debussy's Suite Bergamasque (yes, including Claire de lune)
• Mendolssohn's Bergomask, from Ein Zommernachtstraum

Some other 2015 predictions :

Crown will get new uniforms for 2015.

Cadets won't do another ' murica themed show production until at least 2020.

6 Corps will do a copycat pitch bends with their Sound Machine in 2015.

Blue Devils will draw their 2015 theme inspiration from something found on the Continent of Europe.

SCV will place 2-5 points in back of BD all season long.

Boston's show will include large props and will have narration for 2015.

Troopers will be a crowd favorite and finish 13th.

Phantom will be the Phantom Reg. we recognize, but Madison won't be the Madison we recognize.

I take it this is their last year in these uniforms. Anybody have a prediction on the pants color? I'm going with canary yellow with a white stripe/plume; they'll go back to the feather plume.

Every time I saw one of thier hats up close on the FN, the silver applique came across like a craft project from the Carol Duvall show.

I hope they go in a different direction.

I suppose we'll hear soon from some Crown insiders if the Corps has decided to turn the page on this chapter of unis, and go in a different direction with some other uniform style, colors, and whatnot. I have no inside knowledge, but I'd be surprised if Crown decided to go another year with this current style, colors, and the current shako style.

Crown posted that they have somewhere around 50-60 age outs (don't remember the exact number). I don't see them getting higher than 3rd next year as that's quite a bit.

FWIW they usually keep uniforms for 3 yrs. 2014 was only year two of this interation. I'd expect them use the current uniform one more time :-)
