littlejaw Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Nicely done. Probably some data points that aren't accurate with a corps being sick the last couple of shows, but that looked very nice! It seems quite a lot like a bunch of data and numbers thrown at you without real grasping of the real life concept of DCI. How did it have the Blue Devils not winning last year? A simple eye test told everyone they were gonna win. For this year, it has Phantom in 6th. I'm not quite sure that is possible. Then maybe catching the Cavaliers? Ok maybe. Them catching BK as well? I think Coats can medal again, but I've got to be honest that after BD's 99.65 tonight I'm not sure they will ever lose again. BD's staff has quite clearly completely figured out DCI and until they move on to other corps/pursuits in large enough numbers I think we're going to see several BD wins in a row for the next several years. They've got it down to a science. Carolina Crown moves up! Too talented, hungry, great reputation, another new uniform 'statement,' and a solid organization underneath it all. Feeling pretty good about those shots in the dark, although not so much that I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket. It's surely more a case of the broken clock being right twice a day.
