jjeffeory
That's a lot of music to fit in 10-12 minutes... All the corps are doing it. Blue Devils does it. (6 last year, sourced from 12 pieces on 2012; 9 pieces in 2009) Carolina Crown does it. (7 last year; 8 in 2011) Cavaliers sourced 7 different pieces in their 2012 show.... Blue Stars have 6 pieces for this year's show. Boston sourced 7 pieces of music for their animal farm show... Madison sourced 8 for last year's show. Crossmen sourced from 6 pieces last year. Colts sourced from 8 songs last year. Troopers sourced from 6 pieces of music last year.

I knew that BD had a ton in 2012 but I didn't realize it was 12. Not sure whether to be shocked or impressed lol
N.E. Brigand
On DCI's latest "Field Pass" podcast, Michael Cesario confirms that Academy's show is based on the music of Mary Poppins, adding "I defy you to not walk out of that show singing 'Supercalifragil--'".
