StuStu
BOOM!!! Who called the z-pull!!!! Did they add a chromatic scale as well?
George Dixon
The spelling of the word ten and the counting to ten are just cringeworthy juvenile set pieces in an otherwise mature (if not staid) interpretation of this work. If you must stoop to spelling ten on the field, at least spell it in Russian, десять. it's ok to do some blatant "in your face" with all the less subtle the masses need some red meat now and then
kinetic inferno11
Cadets live are amazing! I'm speechless about how beautiful the show was
Cadevilina Crown
Did they add a chromatic scale as well? The chromatic scale actually appears earlier in the show, during Symphony 10 Mvt. 2. A subtle reference to 1990, of course.

Cadevilina Crown
why 1990?Okay, maybe the chromatic scale has been played other times in Cadets history, but I associate it with 1990 and the famous "fake Z-pull."
George Dixon
oh gotcha - 90 had the "S pull" in reference to Marc Sylvester - the winding/unwinding play on the Z pull from the Zingali years I was actually AT the show where they debut it - the audience went NUTS as you can imagine went back and rewatched tonights - it is a pretty full blow Z pull in the middle third of the front - not as wound up so not as much to unwind but a great moment the music build / chord there fits nicely with the effect but the 90 S pull (fake Z pull) was a moment of brilliance for sure - the other one in that show was the pause and "leg scratch" the corps did during the show (fancy free ballet) - just so cool

I have the strangest feeling that someone else said this (partly in jest) four days ago.
