mfrontz
Okay, here's an attempt to be positive. What are the BEST brass features ever and why? I will start with BD's soprano soli in 1991. The first example of what a top DCI corps could do with three-valve bugles, and clean as anything.
Tobias
Bridgemen 1978 opening feature and also the trumpets in Sabre Dance. Cadets 2015 French Horn feature. Crown brass effects feature during percussion break. Very out of this world. Just some great playing off the top of my head. The old Bridgemen one was on FB recently so brought it back into my mind. Speaking of BDs soprano line. 2014 opener. :O
shofmon88
I'm not sure it's the best, but maybe the highest? BD's trumpet soloist in 2004. Seriously, what was that?

MikeD
Within the context of its time, the 1971 Argonne Rebels opener, "B&B Favorites"...number one hornline in the country, even playing music that difficult. Video converted from a super-8 film of the 1971 VFW Nats prelims, with sound put in by Roy Perez. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX5AvK5oIOs
