I've learned in recent years not to base my predictions or hype on a show announcement, but holy cow. That rep. is outstanding on first glance, I need to listen to a few that I haven't heard before, but that's some awesome stuff. Mishima? Hell yeah, absolutely loved what Glassmen did with that in 2013. Title is cool, and totally makes sense. I guess I need to catch myself up on some Shakespeare before this summer.

The way Blue Devils announce and describe their shows sells them so well, and I can't wait to see what they do here. Not gonna predict a three peat on show alone, but they are of course in the conversation. Along with what we can pretty much guess Crown is playing, Cadets refreshed design take, and what I'm sure will be another outstanding Bluecoats production, and we could be looking at one hell of a season.

If they do threepeat, I hope they don't go undefeated. I like it nail biting and constantly changing in placement like this last year. ;)

Anybody else sensing a soft ending visually & musically to this show from BD in 2016 ? The Theme seems tailor made for such a possibility. I like the BD Theme as a 1st take.

I listened to the closer (or what I could find from the title) on youtube. it does sound like a soft close. I really loved the one from 04 with the train going off the field. That would be a cool thing in a ship sailing off into the sunset or something.

BD really did do some very creative things with the creation of the sound of the train there, that year. That was so cool, imo.

I love that they're doing "Come Sail Away" by Styx (Dennis Deyoung)! I grew up with Dennis' son Matthew and still spend a good deal of time with the family, I'll have to chat with Dennis to see what he thinks, I'm sure he'll be thrilled.

It should be a great show. Scott is an artist and an intellect which is why their designs are so well received by the judging community. So happy for the BD gang.. Can't deny they are the team to beat!

I don't know if anyone has done a Shakespeare themed show. With the BD guard guiding the theme this show might just be epic. Wait and see. Scott Chandler is the visionary master of shows.
