I would have had them perform in a standstill (17th place M & M/23rd place GE M & M) and without percussion (22nd place/19th place GE percussion) while letting their hornline (1st place) perform. It often happened to Argonne, who had a fantastic hornline for years (mainly thanks to the teaching of Hall-of-Famer Sandra Opie). It would have been nearly impossible for the rest of their corps to keep up with the brass.
