Tobias Posted August 10, 2016 Share Posted August 10, 2016 Judges have biases. They're not cheating certain corps but stylistically they're inclined to favor one approach over another. DCI selecting panels that lean towards one group over another happens absolutely. In 2014 the panel swayed from Cadets to Bluecoats finals week. (Quarters-Semi-Finals). Not that Bloo wasn't good enough to beat Cadets and vice versa but the panel selection pushed that along. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
