I believe that despite knowing that, one should still be a positive force and a professional.  I don't know any of these staff members or the details.  It's just how I would operate while dealing with young adults.

Well one would hope. I heard some very negative rehearsals

I can understand frustrating, but not negative.  Being positive while motivating is great, being scary is even effective, but being negative isn't going to help at all.  Let's hope it's a new year and new attitude.

You realize that guys also don't go to the Cavaliers to finish below 6th...

I think Cadets brass and percussion got hosed last year, but not the rest of the pieces of the corps, so in the end that added up to the Cavaliers being better overall.

I didn't realize that Cadets from last year went to other corps. Interesting...

I was referring to caption heads that went to BAC.

It won't be long before we see how that works out.

that's actually not the case - it won't be long until we see how it works out INITIALLY

then we can see how it works out THIS SUMMER

then we can see how it works out over a few SEASONS

then maybe 10 years from now we can see, in hindsight, "how that works out"

IMO several of the moves won't work out long term for one of the 3 corps in particular and the other two corps will exit this "period" of time stronger for it. (say the next 5 seasons or so)

We will have to agree to disagree. IMO it will be crystal clear right out of the gate.

I'm not thinking in terms of 1 season. When you look back in 10 years you'll get what I'm saying. Can we revisit this then?
