First saw SCV at the Danny Thomas Invitational in 71. As they lined up, staff members used 4-6 foot poles to line up the mm. I mentioned to a friend. "Why do that since after 20 steps or so, they'll probably be out of line some?" When they marched past my line of site, they still looked lined up perfectly.
