Even shows which begin with visual concepts still rely on the existence of music before actual design begins. It's very fashionable to say it's all about the visual or all about the guard. Music drives every part of the design process. Every count of it. Every effect moment. Every flag toss. Every drill move. This fantasy that it's all about the visual is just that -- a fantasy.
