Just Here Posted August 4, 2017 Share Posted August 4, 2017 May not be a final ending but this show seems to be so poorly designed that there may be no ending that will propel them beyond 3rd place and Bluecoats are so close to them that an overtake is not out of the realm of fact. Newseditor44 Posted August 6, 2017 Share Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) Y'all know I'm a huge Crown homer and extremely biased, but I have to say that this years show design has left me scratching my head. I was really starting to get into the show this season but now with all of the changes its really leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth. It's beginning to feel a bit like a train wreck. Rather than make small changes to help them medal it feels like they're adding layers that make it look like they're in panic mode. I don't think this show is designed well enough to win a championship, and there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's ok to play to the audience and know your limits. None of this deep stuff, none of this storytelling. Easier said then done, but if anyone can do it, Crown can. I had a feeling it was going to take this design team a year or two to gel. In my opinion there were more than a few signs during the off season that they were trying to get their feet underneath them. I do get the sense this team generally likes working with each other - let's hope they can all stay together this off season and move forward for a great 2018. I've seen them twice in person, and the show has left most of the audience scratching their heads.
