Oh look a nameless person and their first post

Hey nameless agenda person, do some research before you write a “petition” on a topic you clearly know zero about

Hey George, quick question: Has a felon sexual offender with a record ever been secured by a DCI corps to be on staff and directly interact with the youth with the full knowledge of the administration of their sexual offense felony record?  Yes or No?

True, and I want to see if George will acknowledge that corps have in fact 'knowingly' secured a felon sex offender to be on staff to directly work with youth.

While this is a tough subject, it isn't political.  Currently staying.

I don't know of any current corps who have felons on their staffs.

Does not have to be current, just a corps director/board past or present that knowingly placed the person on staff who was a registered offender. And FYI, felony does not always mean jail time, it can also mean probation which is also recorded as a felony.

Anyhooo....any corps that doesn't take this very seriously and take precautionary measures is setting themselves up for a problem.

Agree, a felony is a specific category of offense, regardless of the sentence.

I would guess that someone who has to register as an offender would have been convicted of a felony level offense. Are there corps in this day and age that do not perform background checks on their staff members? I would guess in the past there were lots of things that happened that would not happen today. It was a pretty open and unregulated activity going way back in time.
