TRacer
Hey, SCVC did this piece in 2017 when they won OC. Kid was in that one.
DrumManTx
We definitely don’t need those choral patches with the brass. They can do it on their own.

If Bloo ever wanted to go that direction... 🙂 If Maslanka had allowed his music to be arranged back when he was still alive, I bet we would have seen at least one all-Maslanka 4 show in DCI. I certainly would have enjoyed a Cadets show of that symphony much more than some of their mid-2000s offerings.

DCI opening night did not do this show justice. talented for sure

Have they not learned from 2015? That "Ode to Joy" patch was the only stain on an otherwise beautifully-designed show. DrumManTx
Carolina Crown is one of a few corps this year who pretty much ignore the upper left quadrant of the field. Front ensemble restricts it some, I know it’s probably a conscious decision for the drums to have a place up front with no front ensemble in their way for the judges to get a read. Not digging them for it, just seems like a side effect of the removal of judges from the field.

Red Dragons
Crown, championship level talent but not quite that level design. 1
