As I said maybe those who won 't do a small thing like wear a mask and protect others should maybe be in lock down and for sure if God forbid they get sick go to the back of the line. You'll see how fast they sing a new tune .When I saw the young couple escorted out of Walmart I felt bad for them for a second then I thought I was more embarrassed for them. Sorry I don't mean to be so harsh or direct on this BUT I have sat outside a Covid unit over 24 hours twice with a loved one waiting on test results, watched people being brought in and listen to the numbers of dying or very very sick from the nurses, for me there is no debate on something so simple. In addition, listening to one of the top ID doctors telling me NOT to listen to what you hear on TV. Sad times we are in for sure no matter how anyone feels about it As far as the actual topic. There will be no band season this year in all places I believe. As far as WGI, or DCI everyone is hopeful BUT in the same conversation all are talking about the huge possibility of no 2021 season. That would still be 2.6 times deadlier than the flu. "The numbers are deliberately padded". The quotes you highlight do not say that. That's your rather cynical interpretation. Most of WGI is scholastic too, AND WHERE THE MONEY IS, You think if there's no fall they will allow a winter program? Don't think so, especially travel.
