The Ott trophy is definitely staying with Crown, they do have a Championship level show but they will be competing with Blue Devils for gold and it might come down to has the better percussion line. H@ll, the last time I was in a field show, there was nothing but right angles and company fronts. At a level of competition so far below DCI as to not even count. This show is already a contender for a CrownGOAT [for me, personally], but I won’t pretend for a moment to know the number that gets hung on it the night of 8/13/22. I'm a little surprised your calling it so early in the season, lol.. Percussion is one of Blue Devils strengths, but they lost twice to SCV this year. Are they the monolith of past years, NO!!! The key to Crown if they want to succeed will be in GE, executing a strong visual program and having that color guard and percussion push themselves until August 13th - they have 36 days to max out this show!
