My sister was in the pom line and she's got this thing where the muscles in her face get tired after awhile and the one side of her face will droop trying to keep the smile. The guard director was VERY adamant that you MUST HAVE YOUR SMILE VISIBLE FROM THE JUDGING BOX and would get on her case time after time.
