I love that Colts does a cadets corps.  I mean SCV and BD can do those with the money they generate, but Colts aren't that big financially.  They could easily say "we're pouring these resources into our world class corps" but they don't, they commit to the mission of music education and corps experience for a whole range of students in Iowa who otherwise might not be able to go to a larger travel corps.

Remember when 20 or so had cadet programs?

Hell, we were one. For Cavaliers, for Black Knights, for Regiment, for Madison, for Guardsmen,,,,etc etc etc.

Yes, it's the remnants of a circuit that used to have bands from all over the US and Canada.

BOA started as a summer event while that was all going on.

Dad: I wonder what they do with that sheet if it's really windy.

Imagine having to stay still under that sheet all this time to avoid ending up getting tangled in it at the start.
