Sad that it’s affecting the groups without as many resources like some thought it might. How could anyone plan for this? Who would have thought that the economy would be as bad as it is right now. Prices are out of control and I am sure all of the Corps have been blindsided. I will be donating too.

Where is member safety? Can’t afford to be on the road ? Don’t go on the road. no. a financial review after the season is a better way. this isn't a Pioneer like situation 3
wolfgang
Just a thought- their next two shows are Winston Salem and Annapolis. To save costs, axe those, pick back up in Glassboro, NJ, Allentown, and to Indy. They scored over 69 tonight, which would still put them in strong contention for Semis (behind 19 other WC corps and likely BDB, Gold, Vanguard Cadets, and Spartans). They would still probably be in the top 25.

And the money you would save on transportation would need to be used to pay for housing for 2 days/nights. In case you weren't aware, show sponsors are responsible to provide 24 hours of housing for each corps. So no shows would mean Surf has to pay for housing. JohnDF
Poor planning or just being blind-sided by the economy... these kids deserve to march. For the price of a couple of pizzas and a six pack, you can help them keep going... I think it's worth it.

BlueStainGlass
Don't forget they lowered their fees to help members afford to march.
