Almost exactly my thoughts .. I saw those guard glitches.. but they are in a great place. The guard running into the Crown feels rushed .. and I think there might be more there.
I had also hoped they would activate the table halves somehow.  They basically pull to the thirties and sit…. definitely tipping up would help but that’s a big change  ..

I like that there is room to clean and grow more .. the BAC show seems to be maxed out but .. and on Flo high cam the ocean flyover looks rushed and a bit “we gotta add something”. As friend told me .. they are over laying now.

Pretty good to be basically tied for 2nd.

Agree 100%. BAC is pretty much flawless right now. I couldn’t see any major guard misses and the drill is all in form, transitions cleanly, etc. I really couldn’t see anything to change or improve upon.

Crown still has opportunities to clean drill. The time for major changes is dwindling down so probably won’t see anything on the tables, but will see.

The guard rushing in was a tad rushed bc they had to put down their flags. I wonder if they held the flags up and ran in to lay them down, I’d it’d give better timing and visual?

Overall, Crown is in a great spot.  Love love love this show.

The insect flying over the high cam during the famous mello lick at the end of 4th movement was a paid actor.

If they figure this out, I’ll pee myself. I was already in tears last night when the guard filled in the da*m crown. 😂

I want it too.

When the guard filled the crown last night I was like “oh dang. Now the costuming colors make all kinds of sense!”

This team has had the rollout planned since last fall.  I’m not convinced they don’t have another surprise or two for us

Love the standing ovation Crown got as soon as the crown snapped in to place.

All of these changes made in the last week and a half have really added so much momentum to the show. It’s all starting to tie together really well.

Also noticed they added some drill in the other movements that aren’t the closer too. Awesome. Cleaning it really well too.

...I rechecked - and, that's NOT how the story is supposed to end at BAC. I kinda feel bad for the whale now. hmpf.

Vis Performance/Analysis is a place for growth. I truly wish the best for all members and have every belief in confidence that the staff are doing the right things re: member health/safety...but, I swear, those blanks in the drill are somethin.

Good news...I think...or, i've rationalized...good news is that the three blanks I spotted on Sat night were also present in the Crown. So...I have to believe that there is an expectation that those holes will be filled. They wouldn't have wrote a set with expected blanks in it, right? 🙂 Yea...so, seeing the holes in the end actually lifted my spirits. And again, this is a tough cookie to crumble, but, I saw the members trying to close them down at times, and other times not - which is never a good look. If the holes themselves didn't depress scores ever so slightly (which they shouldn't), then there is an argument for some of the slinky spacing that was going on as a result.

Overall - vis concept and design is a place where, I think the Crowns need to reevaluate. I think this package is, and will be deserved wherever the chips fall (1-4). But, when I look at the drill and staging, I do find a lack of crisp-ness to it...and I think it's more design that technique. A lot of the sets seem spaghetti strand-y (very official term btw), and there are times where I wonder why some of the development develops in the way it develops. Not that it's bad...just wonder why.  And I would say/will say this whether there's a medal, a ring, or neither.  And, who cares what I have to say, anyway!?!?!?! 🙂

With .337 between the top four, there is no telling what will or won't make the difference between one judge in one sub-caption giving that edge....or not. Maybe 12 minutes of good spacing makes it all lock in. .337 can come down to an attack....a release....a roll....technique on a catch...

The insignificance of what can make that difference is wildly significant! Ir feels like the wind ia behind the crown, and that's a great place to be. It's so weird to say, but, a week is a long-time - however, one week from right now, we'll have all the answers.

Long Live the Crown.

The holes were members that were sick. From my understanding all holes are now filled. There were even some members out there that were sick but powered through.

EXTREMELY rough edit of what I want in that final Crown set. The guard standing there is good for now, but I want the center of that sucker to SPARKLE!

The guard has plenty of time to stage and open a silk like that. I could definitely see that happening. It would bring the house down for sure. They held that final note out *very* long last night. Almost too long. I have an odd feeling there’s going to be another moving line musically there to finish the snow out come Indy.

I'm hoping for a drill move with the guard where they are in the shape of a sword and they come down and pierce the top of the Crown all the way to where the battery is standing just like the show logo.
