A little surprised to see Cadets take them in percussion tonight. Both are fabulous percussion sections but Cadets must have been on point tonight. I can only imagine the laughter and confused emoji's one would have gotten back in March/April if they said the Mandarins would be trading punches in August with two multi time world champions. I don't care where the Mandarins finish in Indy. They are winning just by the simple fact that their name is now mentioned in the same sentence with two of the greatest corps in the history of this activity...........Cadets and Phantom Regiment. And the fact that the Mandarins broke their scoring record tonight at the Naval Academy..................this retired Navy Chief approves.
