The strains of Gloria return after a percussion feature. First time I heard Cavies play this during this season, I had to go back to listen to the 1989 show.

Mellophones move across the field with the tenors as they play the melody.

Thanks for your updates!!

Cavies' aussies always lend such a unique look when they're moving in unison

Especially with those stylized plumes they’re using this season.

This also brings attention to the props, which are based on the classic Cavies plume, though mirrored to start the show. The props are on wheels and move on the field throughout the show.

The Cavies call the second movement “Groove 75” and it really does groove, though not at first as we hear Judy Garland sing about where we’ll find her, referring to the show theme.

This is where the front ensemble really shines and you can tell they’re a large reason why the corps is scoring so high in percussion.

Ok those feather props seem...mirrored now?   Have they always been or is it just 1000% times more awesome in LOS?

Another "clearly designed for LOS" thing.

Oh I see. They're white on one side (as I remembered them) and mirrored on the other.

Snares and mellophones trading off with one another.

Good GOD, that drum line is so CLEAN. And that move they do with their right hand, even my wife had to pick up her jaw off the floor when she saw that up close, and that was SAN ANTONIO.

Great Four Corners quote to close out this groovy section.
