I don’t know that it’s “the majority”, but it’s not uncommon. Kids want to look around and see what different orgs are like and where they’re a good fit.

I think the fact that many corps offer a less expensive video option makes it more feasible too.

in the past several corps strung kids along until spring training. some to see if they could hang and maybe end up being worthy, some cause...well...camp fees.
