I voted Cadets (1972)...we would have been 10th w/o penalties. :(

The Polish Falcons were a very nice corps from Elizabeth, NJ. I competed against them in the GSC in 68/69...never got close to them. Red Cadets jackets AND red pants.

The made a run at class 'A' in the early 70's, and I think eventually merged with the OLPH Ridgemen. Did not last, though.

Their drumline under Bobby Craig (of BS fame as a great snare drummer) was excellent.

I think it was North Star that made 12th (or whomever) and they were almost completely packed up for the trip home when they got told they were in.

LaCrosse had a great show that year, but it didn't come on until really late.

One of DCI's better shaft jobs.

Definitely Dutch Boy - any year they came in 13th - what a corps. You were always guaranteed a great show when they came on.

Southwind 2000 is one of my favorite shows. Should've been in finals, IMHO.

One of my drum instructors was in Dutch Boy's snare line...Their motto was "Dutch Boy, we come in 13th so you don't have to."
