BeachDrums
I thought, The Cadets brass was absolutely fabulous! I was proud of them. I think they really showed viewers why they are number one in the world! Great performance, Cadets!! Galen
I liked Swing Swing Swing better when they played it in '95, myself. But at least they called them a drum corps for once! :)
NR_Ohiobando
They kinda snuck "band" in at the end of their segment though. I was watching CBS at first and they had completely skipped them. When the Cadets were in the background the hosts grabbed a camera and started filming themselves just messing around. Thank god for NBC though. Lancerlady
I thought they kicked ###, and I heard them while I was cooking and had to drop that to run in and turn it up, or I would've missed it. Just curious, does anyone know how they decide who goes, is it the corps from last year? Or how does that work? Great Job Cadets!
Michael Boo
I had just thought, "Hey, they called them a corps" when Matt through in "The Allentown-based band..." Oh, well. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. What matters is that drum corps got some national exposure and Cadets sounded wonderful. However, I watched NBC from before the parade began and I never saw the drum line thing at the beginning. What happened?
amanda_renee89
However, I watched NBC from before the parade began and I never saw the drum line thing at the beginning. What happened? It was like, 5 seconds long. barely noticeable if you didnt know it was them. but it still made me happy.
Invader
NBC went to commercial and only showed about the last 30 seconds of the Cadets performance. What got on the air was great. Bravo Cadets! I did notice the the crowd went nuts at the end of their performance so they must have really turned it on.
yabetterbelieveit
First off.... THEIR OLD UNI'S ARE BACK!! HOOORAY FOR OLD AND CLASSIC UNIFORMS! b**bs & I would be willing to bet they were/are 100x louder than all the other bands there today. Great job, great gaurd too, Im glad they represented the DC community with a great performance.
mikemey
They were clearly the best musical unit there today. The hornline was on fire, and didn't have the intonation issues the other bands did. Very nice. :)
