'80 27th tympani during "New Country" b**bs '74-'75 Muchachos second drum solo with the flexatone thing B) '76 Cavies (sticks to the eagles!!!!) mobrien--how 'bout one more shout out for '76 Kilts "Linus and Lucy"???? sarnia sam--you know NOBODY did triple-stroke rolls quite as well as the O-C ^OO^ Rich--I humped the vibes, but you get this for the North Tenors.... RobH Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 As an old guy here, maybe I don't really know the "standards" for DCI drumlines - when I posted earlier here, there was a tick system in effect, a heavy emphasis on rudimental drumming, on playing "clean" and sounding "as one unit" - and in the 25 years away from the activity, the sound and emphasis on drumming had changed. I can no longer HEAR the percussion much on the field - much of the percussion is in the pit and I don't know how the pit is evaluated!
