Fran Haring
Folks-I will be out of DCP touch for a few weeks. Wanted to put a rememberence of Jason Lowe's passing 5 years ago 9 Aug 01. He is truly missed. RIP Jason Wow.... five years already. I never met the young man, but from all accounts he was a special person. Rest in peace, Jason. MAV
I'm sobbing at my desk...again. again. again. again. I am so with you Stef. I can read about other passing, other tragedies, and this still effects me to the bone. It's still raw after all these years. The first time was at the outer fence in Buffalo at DCI championship week. Tom Peashy told me mere minutes after he got the news. And we cried. Still missing the Jason Adventures... MAV PS Is the Jason Fund still going on?
TrainWreck
For some reason, reading about Spirit reminded me of Jason. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. I can still remember the "Silent Post". I believe the first time I had ever seen a "Silent Post".
Tom Brace
Folks-I will be out of DCP touch for a few weeks. Wanted to put a rememberence of Jason Lowe's passing 5 years ago 9 Aug 01. He is truly missed. RIP Jason Jason and I used to have many conversations and as you might guess...spirited debates. Sometimes people become icons just because they hit a home run or 700+. Jason is an icon because of the person he was. Jason, you are in a better place, but we still miss you. Tom Brace
Newseditor44
I am getting tears just sitting here thinking about it. I remember being on the field as Spirit was playing that day (working on the TV crew)... I just knew that something wasn't right, but didn't know what it was. God be with you Jace, and thanks for being with all of us. We love you bro!

Pioneer19
Folks-I will be out of DCP touch for a few weeks. Wanted to put a rememberence of Jason Lowe's passing 5 years ago 9 Aug 01. He is truly missed. RIP Jason Thanks for posting this. He truly is missed. I remember when 'Canos won D2 at DCM Finals in 1999 and I was with him in the DeKalb stands to hear the announcement—he was so excited. I gave him the biggest congratulatory hug. He's the reason I marched drum corps.
