bawker
A Child's Garden of Dreams by Maslanka. This would be an awesome show!!!! PR, SCV, and Cadets (minus the theatrics please) could make it something wonderful on the field. RADIOHEAD. C'mon Cavies, this is your show. DO IT ALREADY!!!! Totally agree about Maslanka...what a show that would be. From what I've read here though ( I think The Tsar posted this a few months back), it doesn't appear that he wants his music used on the field. RegimentContra94
Maslanka is an odd fellow, I met him in college. From what I understand he simply doesn't want his music changed, though some of his symphonies would be fantastic. How about Music for Prague 1968? Musical_Spinner
About 6-7years ago Naperville North HS (IL) played an entire show of PDQ Bach's 1712 Overture & worked pretty well. How about the rebirth of VK taking a stab at something like this? Well you know i was thinking about VK when I originally posted the suggestion. However, I didn't want to jinx them on their way back to the field you know? <karma kap>
Musical_Spinner
Apart from Star? I think they left behind a bit of an intimidating legacy. I realized they played Roman Festivals right after I posted it (gah, idiot!)......still neglected though...boo.
