CLBass1
"Mercury, the Winged Messenger" would fit nicely with the show title.
Phlickster
What is that grey silhouette in the background? Looks kinda like Cuba. If it's supposed to be Cuba, someone modified what would be the entire eastern end. What about taking the opposite approach and instead of viewing the silhouette as a land mass view as a lake. DonPRBari
. . . with a trumpet section solo of "Flight of the Bumblebee," and "Ride of the Valkyries" for the closer!
manedible
I think that the flock of small birds is casting a shadow of one large bird-Kind of a "Many individuals uniting as one" sort of thing The funny thing is that is almost an exact quote Hopkins used last night (at the Atlanta cadet's audition) to hint at the Cade't's show that has been decided. Parts compared to the whole kinda theme.
kdaddy
Maybe some impressionist music? Debussy-ish? I've always thought Girl with the Flaxen Hair felt "floaty."
supersop
From the title... I'm pretty disappointed... sounds boring. I'm sure they'll make something good out of it though. Being there first hand .. this show will not disappoint. I'm not going to let any kittens out of the sack, but this is definately right up Phantoms alley. I didn't take an actually count but i'll guess there were close to 200 brass at the camp and I had no complaints in what I heard. 135 horns would work for me :P I will give you a hint ....... they're playing Classical music :)
knightsbari
1000 airplanes on the roof & Firebird. Phillip Glass seems way too abstract for them ... if so then Im really entreagued to see what they do with it
