Hrothgar15
Yes, Crown's "Seasons of Love" in '04 was a highlight for me...glad to see you loved it too. That...made no sense whatsoever.
sburstall
Because you can do them one better? Like the Cadets did, in my opinion, in 2003? Glad the design team didn't have that attitude when designing the 2003 show. IMO, I thought Boston did it much better job than Cadets. 2000Cadet
How about Cadets 1998 - Stonehenge. I don't think ANY OTHER corps should try to bring that back. That show seemed as if it were commissioned only for The Cadets. Cadets 1997 - Music of Phillip Sparke. I heard some other corps played the opener of that recently but I am not sure who. The music and the drill just fit The Cadets perfectly and I don't think that should be brought back. Cavaliers 2006 - Machine. The name says it all. Blue Devils 1996 - Club Blue... That show is Blue Devils all the way. Should never be brought back. That's all for now I think.

AzEuph
I think some people are confusing song with show..... On that note I'm gonna say that it's gonna be freakin hard for Cadets to match SCV 99 in Blue Shades. As much as I loved the Cadets version I heard, if they win I think those two songs in 99 and 07 will always be compared.

Actually, as much as I loved SCV 99, I liked Bones' version of Blue Shades better in 99. I actually don't like the piece very much at all, just saying... gjdavistuba
Definitely the '83 version of Rocky Point Holiday. IMHO, this hornline was far superior to the 2003 hornline, and I like the Jim Prime Jr. arrangement better. And especially considering the horns they used at the time. WOW.
