sunriseruk
Thanks for the link Fanatic... ^OO^ It looks as though there is less arm movement than there has been over the past few years from SCV, with the right arm alot closer to the body and a more uniformed approach to their playing overall. Nice!
oldtimedrummer
The snare line has had some young players in the past. One who comes to mind is Rob Carson. There not gonna let a young cat in unless they have what it takes to be a JONEZ! The only ones who will truly understand what that means will be one's in the line or have come before them.Mom Sorry, I don't buy the comparison you make. SCV's current youth compared to Rob Carson???? Maybe, but it's probably a stretch. An exceptional 16 yo like Rob Carson comes along once every twenty or thirty years. Carson had ####### hands that wouldn't quit. With almost half of SCV's snareline still in HS or recent grads, I have a very, very different opinion altogether. But hey, they sounded ok/good for Feb. I'm anxious to see them over the course of the season. Edited March 14, 2007 by oldtimedrummer
Cavaliers Biggest Fan
Young line, but they sound good. I agree very young! they do sound good but just think about the possiblities when all of these young guys stick in there. when they are all 20 it should pretty amazing! PioSop06
I have to believe that's the plan. That's what I was thinking, since they have three years announced early, make the corps a three-year thing. My friends and I were having a discussion about that, if you take the same group of people two-three years in a row, they'll play that much better together.
