dundermifflin
With regards to the low and flow comment above, that's just how the part is written. If it was written at FF, you'd see windshield wipers for stick heights. The technique hasn't changed from last year.
OboeBrad
Thats neat theres a gal marching center, don't see that too often. We have two gals marching snare in SCVC, but neither of them are center IIRC.
Snapettes Mom
When your at this level your already way beyond isolating basics. The staff knows before they even showed up for tryouts they should have been taken care of those things while playing in another line. This is the big leagues here. These guys our shaping phrases with wild enterpretations that would even impress Fred Sanford. Most of challenge will be in the extreme mental exercises that will take them back to the top. PhantomR
The Cadets had a girl split-center (lead stick) when they won the drum title in 05. ~>conner
PhantomR
It would be nice to see the SCV perc. program built up again to consistent greatness... consistent, SUSTAINED greatness. It's been a while! not really. Only a couple of years since a title, and even last year the line was getting to be good ol' Vanguard again. ~>conner
Snapettes Mom
When Tori was in the SCV 03 snare line all the Mom's would get together in the bathrooms at the shows and talk about how cool she was. Really. Mom
Jazzycat1
No - they're too young! Wait - their center snare is a girl! Oh- the warm ups are too musical! That's no Rob Carson (Who is these days?) How about "What a talented group of snare drummers!" If I could play as well as the youngest person there I'd be thrilled! I think they sound great! Can't wait to see them live. RickCogley
Cool, they're playing well! Did Lee Rudnicki take the video? I noticed they are in front of building number 7. ;-)
